History: The first we know of here is Sjur Botolfson Avdal om 1800. Sjur was born in 1774 and married in 1799 to Elisabeth Hermundsdtr Nundal. They had 4 children. Of this Synneva born in 1809 got the place. She married in 1839 to Tomas Erikson Svalheim. He was born 1788 and died in 1891.. They had 2 children. Elisabeth died in 1878. The place has been empty since then.
